Thank You For Being A Friend

So, the other night I was at home alone, standing over the stove cooking dinner, when under my breath, I starting singing the theme song to the "Golden Girls". This was disturbing on several levels. The first of which was I was at least two times through it before I realized: Hey, are you really singing the theme to the Golden Girls? Secondly, I knew every single word. Profoundly distressed, I left dinner on the stove and went and sat for awhile in my Shame Closet.

Thank you for making me laugh. I needed that tonight.

So do you know the theme to Greatest American Hero?

Strangely enough, I found myself doing that (apropos of nothing) a couple of weeks ago. I don't care. It's a good theme song! I still remember Blanch strutting down the hallway with her sleep mask on.

Everyone should learn to let go and dare to be goofy once now and again. It is good for the soul... Don't be disturbed. I think sometimes we act a certain way because we fear the response of others.

I like the theme from Greatest American Hero personally...
