Randomisity
1. The Josh Ritter CD recommended a couple of posts back is fantastic. The happy/sad combo of track #3 (Right Moves) and #4 (The Temptation of Adam) are two of my favorites songs this year. The Lyle Lovett CD is also very good, but not as Large Bandish as I was expecting. I was also disappointed about the lack of Francine Reed.
2. I'm still not very good at kickball. Or basketball. Or the Chili-Chili-Clap-Clap-Chili-Clap-Crap-Crap Game.
3. Larry Craig might be one of the stupidest people I have ever heard of. Especially when he flashed his Senate I.D. badge under the bathroom stool. Perhaps he thought that would get him some government employee discount, or an upgrade to some premium package.
4. The next time I'm in an airport bathroom I shall sit perfectly still.
5. The other day at work I had a patient that weighted over 500 pounds. That would be a quarter of a ton. Or the weight of nearly 3.5 mes. Later in the day a very simple, routine procedure suddenly became anything but. Not a good day at work.
6. A week from now I'll be on vacation so it gets better.
7. Last night I dreamed I was watching an episode of According to Jim. What made the dream strange was that the episode was absolutely hilarious.
8. There is a bunch of uncertainty going around right now. That's not necessarily a bad thing, or a good thing. It just is.

It's so funny you mention that about the Josh Ritter CD...those are my 2 favorite songs on the CD and they do mesh so perfectly.
I didn't realize that his show wasn't until November. For some reason I thought it was coming up in a couple of weeks.
Oh well.
